Animated moral stories for children

Moral stories for children all packed in a CD ROM under the brand name Finetoons has been launched by Marito Corporation a Chennai-based e-publishing company.

Focussed on children aged three to eight, the Finetoons inaugural CD presents a collection of 15 animated stories selected from Panchatantra, Aesop fables and Jataka, both in English and Hindi. They are retold in a simple and direct manner to help children identify with the good and the bad, the weak and the strong, as well as with kindness and greed.

The stories are, Another Jungle King, The Bear and the Beehive, The Fox and the Goat, The Friends who Failed, Friends in Need, The Hare and the Tortoise, Last of the Golden Eggs, Stork and the Saviour, The Frogs and the Milk, The Clever Monkey, The Thirst Crow, The Gift of Heart, The Three Axes, Tortoise in the Air and United We Stand.

The CD also includes five activities to kindle the imagination and understanding ability of the children. They are, Fill in the Blanks, Glossary, Match the Animal, Find the Living Place and Fill Colours.
